Commander attends 4th
communal Kathina robes offering ceremony

Division Peace and Development Council Commander of Yangon
Command Maj-Gen Myint Swe attended the 4th communal Kathina
robes offering ceremony held at Kanmyint Monastery on
Thirimingala Street in Aungchantha Ward, Sangyaung Township,
Yangon West District, this morning and presented robes and
offertories to the Sayadaws.
First, the congregation received the Five
Precepts from Bhaddanta Silavamsa. Next, the Sayadaw and members
of the Sangha recited parittas. Then, the commander and
wellwishers presented Kathina robes and offertories to the
members of the Sangha.

Committee Ahhidaja ,Maharatthaguru Ahhidhaja Agga Maha Saddhamma
Jotika Sayadaw of Maha Visuddayama Monastery Magway Sayadaw
Bhaddanta Kumaraka delivered a sermon, followed by sharing of
merits gained.
