Aug - Senior General Than Shwe, Chairman of the State
Peace and Development Council of the Union of Myanmar,
has sent a message of felicitations to His Excellency Mr

complex being built by the Department of Human
Settlement and Hosing Development, the Ministry of

afternoon inspected extension of the runway at Bhamo

Lt-Gen Khin Maung Than presents prizes to winners in
paddy transplanting competition in Ayeyawady Division

3 Aug - Member of the State Peace and Development
Council Lt-Gen Khin Maung Than of the Ministry of
Defence attended the monsoon paddy transplanting
competition in Migyaungtaya Village, Kangyidaunt
Township, Pathein District yesterday. Next, Lt-Gen Khin
Maung Than delivered an address at the completion of
ploughing for monsoon paddy cultivation at the time of
sufficient water and rain for 2003-2004 and presented
prizes to winners in the paddy transplanting
competition.
