816.5 grams of raw opium seized

YANGON, 3 Aug - A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit and the special anti-drug squad in Tamu on 10 July seized 816.5 grams of raw opium from Anyi (a) Lun Kho Gin, between border checkpoints 1 and 2 in Tamu.

In connection with the case, action was taken against Anyi (a) Lun Kho Gin, son of U Aung Shwe (a) Lun Kho Pa, of 14-Ward in Tamu, under Section 15/19 (A) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law by Tamu Police Station.
