Furniture Mart opens

YANGON, 3 Aug - Minister for Cooperatives Lt-Gen Tin Ngwe attended at the opening ceremony of varieties of furniture at international level sale centre being held on the second floor of Cooperative Commercial Trade Centre (Saya San Plaza) at the corner of University Avenue and Saya San Street in Bahan Township this morning.

Present on the occasion were the director-general of Cooperative Department, the director-general of Cottage Industries Department, the managing director and officials of Cooperatives Export and Import Enterprise and guests.

First, Chairman of the Decorators's Group U Ko Ko Aung explained purpose of the opening of varieties of furniture at international level in Myanma Arts and Handicraft sale centre.

Next, Director-General of Cottage Industrials Department U Sein Than and Chairman U Ko Ko Aung formally opened the sale centre.

After that, the minister, officials and guests viewed round the sale centre. It opens from 9 am to 6 pm daily.
