TB hospital, Workers Hospital inspected

Yangon, 3 April — Minister for Labour U Tin Winn, yesterday afternoon went to Workers Hospital (Yangon) in Tamway Township.

Officials conducted the minister round the patient wards, wards, theatres and orthopaedic rooms of the hospital, and reported to him on matters relating to giving medical treatment to patients.

The minister then met with patients receiving medical treatment at the hospital and comforted them. At the meeting hall of the hospital, the minister met with the medical superintendent, specialists, doctors, nurses and medical staff and gave instructions on giving treatment to patients out of goodwill and love.

In the evening, the minister arrived at the construction site of TB Treatment Hospital (100-bed), which belongs to the Social Security Board, in Hlinethaya Htantabin Township. There the minister heard reports on progress made in the construction of the hospital and arrangements for opening the hospital soon. After hearing the reports, the minister gave instructions to officials who will discharge duties in the hospital.

It is reported that TB Treatment Hospital (100-bed) owned by the Social Security Board of the Ministry of Labour will be opened soon.
