USDA Secretariat Member carries out rural development tasks in Magway, Sagaing Divisions

Yangon, 7 April — Member of the Secretariat of the Union Solidarity and Development Association (Central) Minister for Information Brig-Gen Kyaw Hsan carried out USDA and rural development tasks in Magway and Sagaing Divisions on 2 April.

On 2 April evening, the minister met with executives of Pakokku District and Township USDAs at the district USDA office and gave instructions on organization and rural development tasks. On 3 April morning, the minister and party met with village elders and local people of Mintaingpin USDA Village and Pale Township USDA executives and teachers and students. The Secretariat member discussed turning out of outstanding students from Mintaingpin area, use of the library, TV, radio and newspapers, prevalence of peace and tranquillity of the State, taking of fire prevention measures and participation in the five rural development tasks.

 

Then, the ministers attended the ceremonies to put up the signboards of Pyi-Khine-Phyo Villages in Wanbechaint Village and Ledhamma Village in Pale Township. He presented cash donations for spending it on village development tasks.

 

Similarly, the minister attended the ceremony to put up the signboard of Pyi-Khine-Phyo Village in Kyaw Village in Gangaw Township. At the ceremony, a total of 5,203 membership applications were presented. The minister presented K 50,000 for Kyaw Station Hospital and blankets and clothes donated by Myanmar Red Cross Society to officials of the hospital. At the ceremony, the Secretariat member said that tasks are to be carried out for enrolment of all school-going age children of the region, planting of Thitseint trees (Belleric myrobalan), extended breeding of poultry, goat and pig, preventing the destructive acts of internal and external destructive elements. Thence, progress will be achieved in the national unity and peace and tranquillity and all national people can enjoy fruits of  the development.

 

The minister then attended the ceremony to put up the signboard of the library in Kyaw region and donated books to the library. In the afternoon, the Secretariat member attended the ceremonies to put up the signboards of Pyi-Khine-Phyo villages in Yemyetni Village in Htilin Township and Nyaungle, Khaungton and Pyiwa villages in Gangaw Township. The mobile team of Documentary Film of Myanma Motion Picture Enterprise, which accompanied the minister, showed documentary and feature films to the local people.
