women’s soccer team secures champion

April — The final match of the 8th Inter state and division
soccer tournament (Women) was held at Aung San Sports Ground
this evening and Yangon Division women’s soccer team trounced
Mon State women’s soccer team 4-0.
After the match,
Patron of Myanmar Women’s Sports Federation Dr Daw Khin Win Shwe
awarded K 1 million to Yangon Division team and Secretary of
Myanmar Olympic Committee Director-General of the Sports and
Physical Education Department Chairman of Myanmar Football
Federation U Thaung Hteik presented a championship shield.
Officials
concerned presented the player of the match award to Ma Yamin
Thida of Yangon Division, the first prize and individual prizes
to Yangon Division; the second prize to Mon State; the third
prize to Ayeyawady Division and Mandalay Division and best
player awards in places to the respective players. |
