Yangon, 22 April- Minister for Communications, Posts and Telegraphs Brig-Gen Thein Zaw inspected telephone exchange, post and telegraph offices in Seikphyu Township and telephone exchange and post office in Tanyaung Village, Magway Division on 20 April.

The minister also inspected rural telephone exchange under construction in Zibyubin Village. He inspected telephone exchange, post office, microwave stations in Hsinphyugyun, Salin and Pwintbyu Townships. The minister inspected telephone exchanges and post office in Lekai Village and Sagu Township.

On 21 April, the minister inspected microwave stations in Kanhtoke and Shantatgyi and made arrangements for telephone communication. The minister inspected communication facilities in Mindon and Okeshitpin in Bago Division (West). In the afternoon, the minister inspected telephone exchanges, post offices, microwave stations and in Kyangin, Myannaung, Htoogyi, Mezaligon, Ingapu, Talokhtaw, Hinthada and Danubyu.
