Inter-State/Division table tennis tourney opens
Yangon, 22 April - The
16th inter-State/Division Table Tennis championship matches were opened at Aung
San Stadium today with an address by Minister for Sports Brig-Gen Thura Aye
Myint.
After the opening ceremony,
Managing Director U Kyaw Sein of Olympic Hotel presented K 500,000 to the
Myanmar Tennis Federation, Federation President U Kyaw Kyaw K 400,000,
Vice-President U Mya Maung K 400,000, Executive Member U Aung Lwin K 400,000, U
Khin Hsaing of Kyaung Kaba Video Production K 300,000, and executives U Myint
Thein, U Chan Hein, U Maung Maung Than and Daw Daisy Lin K 300,000 each and Daw
San San Myint K 200,000.
Minister Brig-Gen Thura Aye Myint
also addressed the opening ceremony of South East Asia Judo Federation Coaching
and Refereeing Seminar at the Road Administration Department.
President of South East Asia Judo
Federation Mr Hoang Viet Hung also gave a speech. Forty trainees are attending
the course which will last till 26 April.
