Yangon, 2 April - Minister for Electric Power Maj-Gen Tin Htut inspected Ngathayauk and Lawka Nanda River Water Pumping Projects in NyaungU Township, Mandalay Division, and Thaphanseik River Water Pumping Project in Magway Township, Magway Division, and attended to the needs on 30 April morning.

Then, the minister and party inspected construction of Mone-Chauk Tower Nos 132 and 246 and left necessary instructions. In the afternoon, they proceeded to Mone Creek Hydel Power Project in Magway Division and inspected progress of work and gave instructions.

On 1 April, the minister and party inspected Paunglaung Hydel-power Project in Mandalay Division and fulfilled the requirements.

During his inspection tour, the minister gave instructions to the officials concerned on efforts to be made for completion of the project as soon as possible, cooperation among respective departments, minimizing loss and wastage, efficient use of construction materials, ensuring work site safety, systematic installation of machines, systematic use of heavy machinery, measures to be taken for prevention of fire, health care services and staff welfare, and attended to the needs.
