Talks
on women’s rights held in Myitkyina
Yangon,
4 Feb— Talks on women’s rights organized by Kachin State Working Committee for
Women’s Affairs was held at the town hall in Myitkyina on 27 January.
Chairman of Kachin State Peace and Development
Council Commander of Northern Command Maj-Gen Maung Maung Swe spoke at length on
development of Myanmar women and care service of young women and children.
Member of Kachin State Working Committee for
Women’s Affairs leader of prevention of violence against women and
rehabilitation group wife of the commander Daw Tin Tin Nwe explained functions
of work committees.
Deputy Law Officer of Kachin State Daw Marang
Jafer gave talks on rights which Myanmar women are enjoying and Psychiatrist Dr
Khin Ko Ko Thu on counselling works.
