National Championship Inter-ministry Track & Field Meet

4 Feb— Myanmar Olympic Committee Chairman’s Shield the 51st National
Championship Inter-ministry Track and Field Meet was held in the Aung San
Stadium this morning.
 Chairman of MOC Minister for Sports Brig-Gen Thura
Aye Myint formally opened the tournament. Defending champions YCDC men’s team
and the Ministry of Home Affairs women’s team and the Ministry of Home Affairs
team handed over shields to the minister.
Altogether 243 athletes from 12 ministries
participated in the events which continue till 8 February.
Wellwisher Dental Engineer U Soe
Han of Singapore presented K 50,000 to President of Myanmar Track and Field
Federation U Myint Tun.
