Drugs addict treatment centre opened in Tachilek

Yangon, 20 March -The opening ceremony of community based drugs addict treatment centre organized by Myanmar Anti-Narcotics Association was held on 20 March at Hway Lay Lan village in Mongphone Village-tract, in Tachilek Township with an address by regional Tactical Commander Col Than Shain.

Now, there are 27 drug addicts being given treatment at the centre.

It was attended by Chairman of Tachilek District Drug Abuse Control Committee Tachilek District Peace and Development Council Chairman Lt-Col Aung Nyunt Thein and members, departmental officials, members of social organizations and local people.
