Construction of rural roads,
development works inspected
Yangon, 23 March -
Minister for Progress of Border Areas and National Races and Development
Affairs Col Thein Nyunt inspected civil and rural development works in
Mandalay Division yesterday.
The minister inspected the
construction of gravel road from Saga-inn roundabout to Ngazinyaing village
in TadaU Township and gave necessary instructions. Next, he attended the
opening ceremony of 2-inch tubewell at Kume east village in Myittha Township
and 4-inch tubewell at Myinsaing village in Kyaukse Township.
The minister also attended
the opening of district hospital circular road in Kyaukse and inspected
Zawgyi river water storing dam project.
The minister also attended
the meeting to coordinate measures for constructing rural roads and bridges
and for sinking rural tubewells in Mandalay Division.
