Ephedrine powder seized in Singaing

Yangon, 29 March - A combined team comprising members of local intelligence unit, Mandalay Special Anti-drug Squad and local police force, acting on information, searched the house of U Zar Ket Hle of Daukgyikwe Village in Singaing Township on 19 March and seized 70 kilos of ephedrine powder.

Action is being taken against U Zar Ket Hle, 50, son of U Lar Yan Thin Hmon, under Section 15/16 (B) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law by the Singaing police station.
