All-round Skill Contest for children of Yangon Command held

Yangon, 18 Feb - The All-round Skill Contest for Pre-Primary School students from regiments and units under the Yangon Command, organized by Yangon Division Maternal and Child Welfare Association, was held in conjunction with the prize presentation ceremony in honour of the 57th Anniversary Union Day at the hall of the command headquarters this morning, attended by Chairman of Yangon Division Peace and Development Council Commander of Yangon Command Maj-Gen Myint Swe and wife Patron of Supervisory Committee for Yangon Division MCWA Daw Khin Thet Htay. Also present on the occasion were Deputy Commander Col Wai Lwin and wife, military region commanders and their wives, officials and wellwishers. Then, children participated in the contest. Next, the commander and wife presented prizes to the winners. Deputy Commander Col Wai Lwin and wife and officials also gave away prizes to the winners. Afterwards, Daw Khin Thet Htay accepted donations for Yangon Division MCWA. TodayÕs donations were K 300,000 by U Naung Lwin of Naung Group; K 100,000 each by U Zaw Min of Lanpya Kyei Co Ltd; U Khin Maung Aye-Daw Khin Lay of Gold Power Co Ltd; U Aung Thein of Jumbo mosquito coil; and Hlinethaya Industrial Management Committee; K 50,000 and biscuit packets and toys worth K 50,000 by U Aung Myo-Daw Hla Hla Kyi of Laymyethna Co Ltd; stationery worth K 90,000 by Managing Director U Sai Than Aung-Daw Nan Yin of Vantage Co Ltd by and T-shirt, drawing books, Calcivita medicine, Milo and snacks worth K 140,000 by Mega Products Co Ltd. Later, officials presented souvenirs to the children who presented entertainment to audience.
