Deputy Minister meets service personnel of IPRD in Monghsat

Yangon, 10 March - Deputy Minister for Information Brig-Gen Aung Thein, Director-General of Information and Public Relations Department U Chit Naing, Deputy Chief Engineer of Myanma Radio and Television U Myint Aung and officials arrived in Monghsat on 6 March.

The deputy minister and party, together with Chairman of Monghsat District Peace and Development Council Lt-Col Aung Htay proceeded to Pungpahkyem in Mongtong Township in the evening. The deputy minister met departmental personnel. He inspected TV relay station and IPRD office there.

On 7 March, the deputy minister and party met service personnel at Mongtong Township IPRD office and fulfilled the requirements. The deputy minister inspected Township IPRD office and TV relay station.

He went to Mongkhok and met departmental personnel. In the evening, he inspected Monghsat District IPRD office. On 8 March he inspected Monghsat TV relay station. In meeting with service personnel, the deputy minister spoke of the need to work hard for the development of the region, assuming that the region was their hometown.
