Minister attends ceremony to introduce Fortinet
Antivirus Firewall

YANGON, 15 May — Under the arrangement of Bagan
Cybertech a ceremony to introduce Myanmar Millennium
Group Co Ltd as the first sole official representative
of Fortinet Co and to introduce Fortinet Antivirus
Firewall to support e-Government projects was held at
Myanma Information and Communication Technology Park in
Hline Township this morning, attended by Chairman of
Myanmar Computer Science Development Council Prime
Minister General Khin Nyunt.
Also
present on the occasion were Chairman of Yangon Division
Peace and Development Council Commander of Yangon
Command Maj-Gen Myint Swe, ministers, the Yangon Mayor,
the deputy ministers, senior military officers,
officials of the State Peace and Development Council
Office, heads of departments, officials of Myanmar
Computer Federation, Myanmar Computer Scientists
Association, Myanmar Computer Industry Association,
Myanmar Computer Enthusiasts Association, entrepreneurs
of computer companies and guests.

Managing
Director of Myanmar Millennium Group (MMG) Co Ltd U Min
Zeya Hlaing extended greetings. He said the introduction
aims to use Fortinet Antivirus Firewall for safety in
e-Government projects and IT networks at low price. The
firewall was introduced in Myanmar about two years ago.
There were some difficulties in sale because the
firewall did not consist of Antivirus Software. Later,
MMG Co Ltd contacted Fortinet Company. He said the
firewall produced by that company includes Antivirus
Software and other features such as Virtual Private
Network (VPN), Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Web
Content Filtering. Next, Sales Director of Fortinet Co
Mr Benjamin Teh explained the Fortinet Antivirus
Firewall with audio visual aids. Next, Mr Benjamin Teh
presented a certificate of sole official representative
of Fortinet Co to Managing Director U Min Zeya Hlaing.

Mr
Benjamin Teh and U Min Zeya Hlaing presented gifts in
commemoration of the introduction of Antivirus Firewall
to the Prime Minister.

The Prime
Minister and party inspected Antivirus Firewall which
can be used in e-government projects, equipment related
to Gemtek systems outdoor wireless and Linksys
networking products.
