Chinese delegation calls on Information Minister

YANGON, 23 May — A four-member Chinese delegation led by Mrs Liu Xiuwen, Secretary-General of Chinese Film Association, who are on study tour in Myanmar called on Minister for Information Brig-Gen Kyaw Hsan at his office this afternoon.

Also present at the call were Deputy Minister for Information Brig-Gen Aung Thein, departmental heads of department and enterprises under the Ministry of Information, officials of Myanmar Motion Picture Asiayon, the head of office of the ministry, staff of Chinese Embassy to Myanmar.

During the call, they held discussions on promotion of cooperation in the field of film between the People’s Republic of China and the Union of Myanmar.
