April—Members of the Myanmar goodwill delegation led by

arrived at the Laotian Prime Minister’s Office in
Vientiane, where they were welcomed by Laotian Prime

in Kachin, Kayin and Mon States and weather had been
partly cloudy in the remaining areas. The noteworthy
amount of rainfall recorded was in Putao with 1.26

Temporary closure
of waterway near Chauk
YANGON, 9
April— The Myanma Electric Power Enterprise will install
new cables of Kyunchaung-Chauk cable-line crossing
Ayeyawady river near Chauk on 13 to 18 April from 7 am
to 5 pm. During the time, waterway under the cable line
will be closed temporarily.
