Development tasks in Kyaukgyi, Pyu inspected

YANGON, 2 April — Chairman of Bago Division Peace and Development Council Commander of Southern Command Maj-Gen Ko Ko inspected facilities of Mone Station Hospital in Kyaukgyi Township on 30 March. The commander viewed round Mone BEHS and gave necessary instructions to officials.

At Marlarmyaing Monastery in Mone, the commander paid homage to Sayadaw Bhaddanta Naginda. At the monastery, he met with local people and explained rural development tasks. On arrival at Okphyat Village in Pyu Township, he left instructions to officials on maintenance of bridges on Pyu-Okphyat-Mone Road and Okphyat-Mone Road.
