Commander inspects agriculture, construction tasks

YANGON, 2 April — Chairman of Shan State (North) Peace and Development Council Commander of North-East Command Maj-Gen Myint Hlaing inspected 5 acres of Hsinshweli paddy plantation near Humon Village of Lashio on 31 March morning.

The commander made inspection tour of preparations for fish breeding works and the land reclamation area. He also oversaw storage of water at Humon Dam. At the local battalion, he looked into sample sunflower plantation and sample soya-bean plantation.

Similarly, 10-acre Hsinyadana paddy plot and the construction of office of Shan State (North) Organization for Women’s Affairs and Maternal and Child Welfare Association.
