Railroad sections, bridges inspected

YANGON, 2 April — U Pe Than, Deputy Minister for Rail Transportation, proceeded to Pun Creek Bridge after leaving instructions to employees under the ministry in Taunggyi on 30 March.

He inspected completion of station building, railroad sections and bridges on Saikkhaung-Punchaung Railroad.

On 31 March, the deputy minister oversaw construction tasks along Punchaung-Bankyauk-Taunggaing-Htibin-Namaheik-Kaunghsai railroad.

In Taunggyi on 1 April, he met with Shan state level officials of the Ministry of Rail Transportation and gave necessary instructions. On 2 April, the deputy minister arrived back here.
