Construction tasks on An-Maei-Kyaukpyu Road inspected

YANGON, 2 April— Chairman of Rakhine State Peace and Development Council Commander of Western Command Brig-Gen Min Aung Hlaing on 31 March inspected construction of bridges along Maei-Kyaukpyu section of An-Maei Road. He also oversaw construction of Thazintanpauk and Minkyaung Creek Bridges. At Hsabyin Bridge construction site on Maei-Taungup section, he heard reports on construction matters by Engineer in-charge U Thit Lwin. The bridge will be 160 feet long and 24 feet wide. It is of reinforced concrete type.

In Maei, he met with departmental officials and heard reports on matters concerning the township. The commander explained regional development.
