Participants arrive
to take part in ASEAN Archery Championship
YANGON, 7
Jan — ASEAN Archery Federation President Mr Sanguan
Kosavinta, who heads a three-member delegation, arrived
here by air this evening. Myanmar is due to host the
first ASEAN Archery Championship to be held from 9 to 14
January 2005. They were welcomed at Yangon International
Airport by officials of the Sports and Physical
Education Department, President of Myanmar Archery
Federation Dr Khin Shwe and General Secretary U Kyaw Oo
and officials.

First Air Bagan Open
Golf Championship 20-23 Jan
YANGON, 7
Jan — The First Air Bagan Open Golf Championship, to be
organized by Myanmar PGA and Myanmar Golf Federation and
mainly sponsored by Air Bagan Ltd, will be held at Bagan
Golf Course in NyaungU from 20 to 23 January.
The
professional golfers division and the amateur golfers
division from 0 to 12 handicap will be categorized.
Officials concerned will manage transport and
accommodation services for Bagan-bound golfers.
