Textile and dyeing
and printing factory opens in Yamethin
YANGON,
25 Jan — The textile and dyeing and printing factory of
Myanma Textile Industries of the Ministry of Industry-1
was opened at the factory in Yamethin Township this
morning, attended by member of the State Peace and
Development Council Lt-Gen Ye Myint of the Ministry of
Defence.


New vessels of IWT
launched at Nanthida Jetty
YANGON,
25 Jan — A ceremony to launch Shwepyithit high speed
vessel, a 500-ton cargo ship and Waiponla double-decker
passenger vessels built at Dalla Shipyards of Inland
Water Transport under the Ministry of Transport was held
at Nanthida Jetty, Pansodan this morning, which was
attended by Minister for Transport Maj-Gen Thein Swe,
Deputy Minister Col Nyan Tun Aung, Officer at Special
Duty Brig-Gen Myo Tin, Managing Director of the IWT U
Soe Tint, heads of department and officials of the IWT.
