28 Jan — Tatmadaw, Myanmar Police Force and the Customs
Department expose 237 drug-related cases— 52.6057 kilos
of opium in 37 cases, 6.3888 kilos of heroin in 83
cases, 10.4378 kilos of opium oil in 10 cases, 1.1617
kilos of low-grade opium in 11 cases, 2.723 kilos of
marijuana in 15 cases, 170,236 stimulant tablets in 50

YANGON,
28 Jan — The combined team comprising members of Yangon
Special Anti-Narcotic Drug Squad and Sangyoung Police
Station, acting on information, on 26 November 2003 made
a search on a suspect, Thein Htoo at the corner of
Shinsawpu Street, Pyay Road and Sangyoung Road and
seized him together with 200 WY stimulant tablets.
