42nd ISD Tennis Tournament commences

YANGON, 23 Jan — Chairman of Myanmar Olympic Committee Minister for Sports Brig-Gen Thura Aye Myint formally opened the 42nd Inter-State/Division Tennis Tournament at Theinbyu Tennis Court this morning.

Before delivering an opening address, the minister accepted the championship shield from previous champion Mandalay Division women’s team.

Altogether 16 men’s teams and eight women’s teams are taking part in the tournament which will last up to 29 January.
