Talks on knowledge, Myanma traditional sports contests held

YANGON, 25 Jan — The Work Group for Preventing Violence Against Women and Rehabilitation under Myanmar Women’s Affairs Federation held talks on knowlege and Myanma traditional sports contests at Women Development Centre on Thalwin Street here on 23 January morning.

First, member of the work group Daw Khin Myo Myint talked on salient points on preventing violence against women, Police Capt Aung Than on human trafficking and Daw Myat Myat Kyaw on child rights and codes of conduct.

Present on the occasion were work group leader Daw Khin Aye, second leader Daw Khin Myo Myint, work group leaders Prof Daw Htay Htay, Daw Khin May Soe, Daw Kyi Kyi Mya, Daw Po Po Kyi and members, officials of Social Welfare Department and trainees of Vocational Training School and Women Development Centre.

After Myanma traditional Htoke-Hsi-Toe sports contest, officials presented prizes to winners.
