Int’l Fair 2005 held at Karaweik Park

YANGON, 29 Jan — The International Fair 2005 organized by Myanmar ASEAN Women’s Friendship Association took place at Karaweik Park in Kandawgyi Gardens at 10 am today.

Present at the fair were Members of the Panel of Patrons of MAWFA the wife of Minister for Foreign Affairs and wives of the ministers, wives of the deputy ministers and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Philippine Ambassador to Myanmar, wives of the ambassadors from the ASEAN embassies and families of diplomatic corps and the United Nations agencies.

In the International Fair, handicrafts, products and foodstuff from the various countries were displayed and sold. The profits from the fair will be donated to social organizations. The fair attracted a large crowd of people.
