Shwe sends felicitations to Ireland
YANGON,
17 March — Senior General Than Shwe, Chairman of the
State Peace and Development Council of the Union of
Myanmar, has sent a message of felicitations to Her
Excellency Dr Mary McAleese, President of Ireland, on
the occasion of the National Day of Ireland, which falls
on 17 March 2005.

Meetings
of NC delegate groups held
YANGON,
16 March — Delegate groups of political parties and
peasants held their meetings to compile the proposals to
be submitted to the NCC Work Committee at designated
meeting halls in Nyaunghnapin Camp, Hmawby in the
morning and afternoon today. Present at the meetings
were group-wise members of panel of chairmen and NC
