Deputy Minister inspects factories

YANGON, 11 June — Deputy Minister for Industry-1 Brig-Gen Thein Tun yesterday visited the furniture factory of Myanma General and Maintenance Industries in Hline Township . After inspecting production line, he gave necessary instructions to officials. Next, the deputy minister inspected Win Thuza Shop (Branch) at Phawgan Slippers Factory No 1 and Turkey Brand Umbrella Factory.

On arrival at the glass factory of Myanma Ceramics Industries in Thanlyin Township this morning, the deputy minister heard a report by officials on production of glass sheets and inspected production process. At the plastic factory of Myanma General and Maintenance Industries, the deputy minister looked into production of plastic wares such as cups, baskets, boxes and plates. Afterwards, the deputy minister inspected the shoe factory No 2, packing materials factory and garment factory No 18.
