Minister for Transport leaves for Thailand

Yangon, 15 May — Minister for Transport Maj-Gen Thein Swe left for Thailand by air this morning to attend the 61st ESCAP Annual Ministers’ Meeting to be held in Bangkok, Thailand from 15 to 19 May.

The minister was seen off at Yangon International Airport by Minister for Sports Brig-Gen Thura Aye Myint, Deputy Ministers for Transport U Pe Than and Col Nyan Tun Aung, heads of departments and officials.
