Rural Development tasks
In 2002-2003 Fiscal year k 254.5 million were allocated to the States and Divisions for rural development. A total of k 254.5 million was spent on 271 tasks.

Objectives and duties of the General Administration Department
The General Administration Department is one of the four Departments under the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Objectives of the General Administration Department are as follows:
A model farm of GAD in Thahton District.
A lake for local use, Inpinwa village, Mandalay Division.
