‘My style is not always fixed’

I HAVE been interested in jewellery since I was young. I think it plays an important part in defining the wearer’s status.

However, I don’t think it is necessary to wear it to every event. Some events, like stage shows and fun fairs, don’t require valuable jewellery because it doesn’t go well with modern clothing.

Mostly, decisions about whether to wear jewellery depend on the event I am attending and the outfit I choose to wear to it. But I often act according to how I feel and what I want at the last minute. Sometimes I put on an outfit and then decide if I should wear jewellery to complete my style. If so, I go for it. Sometimes I want to wear a particular set, so I pick clothes that will match it. My style is not always fixed.

I don’t go shopping for jewellery and I rarely buy it while shopping for clothes. I have a goldsmith make designs that I like. My favourite stones are diamonds. They look clean and they sparkle. Most of all, they are attractive. My family tells me that my lucky stone is ruby, but I haven’t tested it to see if they really give me good luck.

I think almost all women are fond of jewellery. Some may think it is important and some may think it is not so important. But it surely adds some charm women who wear it.
