Since 2003, MIT (Myanmar Information Technology) has been providing an online shopping service on the net. From its website (e-commerce.com.mm) you can get access to over 20 online merchants with a wide range of possibilities. From groceries to jewellery to ticket reservations – the convenience of this service is amazing.

THREE amateur singers grabbed the rare opportunity to reveal their talents at a singing contest last month, the first of a series planned by City FM and Laser World.

THE well-known pianist and classical singer Sandayar Chit Swe celebrated his 70th birthday this month with a party at the Dolphin restaurant.

 

“I do not dream of becoming a dancer. I am a dancer and have always been a dancer. Dance is the ultimate reality, not a dream, of my life,” said Mr Janak Khendry, who has been devoted to dance for more than forty five years.

 

IT has taken three years to produce, and Hein Htet Aung hopes that his debut album, Chronic-Truth will be worth all the effort.

 

Art show
