NEW aquamarine deposits were discovered in Mandalay Division in upper Myanmar last month, a Yangon-based gemmologist and crystal dealer told Myanmar Times last week.

THE price of peanut oil fell last week following a three-month period of increase, said market sources at Yangon’s Bayintnaung Complex, the biggest commodity wholesale market in Myanmar.
