Family of three, Including Child, Abducted by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Pwintphyu Township of Magway Region

     Terrorist groups have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities—including abducting and extorting money from civil servants’ families, local civilians and students, as well as killings.
    Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 3 June 2025 at 10:00 AM, Ko Soe Moe Kyaw (25 years old), his wife Ma Ei Cho Khine (23 years old) and their daughter Ma Nway Su San (three years old), all residents of Kyaung Kone Gyi Village in Pwintphyu Township of Magway Region, were returning home on a motorcycle from Mal Za Li Village. When they reached an area near Ka Ni Village, approximately five miles southwest of Kyaung Kone Gyi Village, they were abducted by seven so-called PDF terrorists who had been waiting for them with four motorcycles, it is reported.
    In response to the incident, security personnel are conducting ongoing operations in line with standard procedures to ensure the prompt rescue of the abducted individuals and bring the perpetrators to justice, it is reported.
