Innocent Civilian Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Madaya Township of Mandalay Region

      Terrorists committing inhumane acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
    Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 5 June 2025 at 10:15 AM, a so-called PDF terrorist group fired heavy weapons into No. 2 Ward in Madaya Township of Mandalay Region. The shells exploded within the ward. As a result, Daw Thu Zar Win (30 years old), a resident of the ward, sustained shrapnel injuries and was transported to Madaya Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
    Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians have been injured or killed. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
