In Certain Townships, Two Innocent Civilians Killed and Another Injured in Attacks by Terrorists

     The terrorist groups, the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the National Unity Government (NUG), with the aim of nationwide destruction, have formed the terrorists known as the so-called PDF. Under various pretexts, in some regions, they have been arresting, torturing and killing government servants, monks and innocent local residents, as well as engaging in armed clashes and carrying out attacks in wards and villages.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 14 April 2026 at 6:30 AM, while U Win Than (aka) Khaung Phyu (65 years old), a resident of Zoke Ka Li Village in Bilin Township of Mon State, was at a hut near the village, three individuals from KNU and so-called PDF terrorists arriving by motorcycle and opened fire on him. As a result, U Win Than (aka) Khaung Phyu died on the spot, it is reported.

     Similarly, at 8:00 PM, on the same day, while U Nyein Oo (50 years old) and his son, Ko Ye Lwin Oo (24 years old), both residents of Ka Mar Wet Ward in Mudon Township, was at their house, two so-called PDF terrorists arriving by motorcycle and opened fire on them. As a result, they sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to Ka Mar Wet Station Hospital for medical treatment. However, Ko Ye Lwin Oo succumbed to his injuries being receiving treatment, it is reported.

     According to the above-mentioned cases, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate shootings and killings of innocent civilians by armed terrorists, who intended to spread fear among the public. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incidents, it is reported.
