Civil Servant and Four Innocent Civilians, Including Three Children, Injured in Improvised Explosive Device Explosions Planted by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Salin of Pakokku and Madaya Townships

In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 2 March 2026 at 8:20 AM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Salin Township Public Hospital in Magway Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as U Tuu Naing (28 years old), a resident of Thal Bot Village in Salin Township. According to the investigation, on 1 March 2026, the victim was walking to Kyu Wun Village. At 3:30 PM, on the same day, while the reached the dirt road connecting Thal Bot Village to Kyu Wun Village, about one furlong east of the village, he stepped on an improvised explosive device planted by so-called PDF terrorists, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, on 2 March 2026 at 8:30 AM, while U Zaw Myo Htway (29 years old), an assistant staff officer at the Township Management and Administrative Committee Office at No. 4 Ward in Pauk Township, was travelling from Pauk Township to Nga Kyauk Kone Village in Myothit Township, he stepped on an improvised explosive device planted near Inn Bat Village in Pakokku Township by so-called PDF terrorists. As a result, he sustained shrapnel injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment at Inn Bat Village, it is reported.
Similarly, on 2 March 2026 at 11:30 AM, a report stated that three children with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Madaya Township Public Hospital in Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victims were identified as Mg Pyae Sone Chit (six years old), Ma Yoon Mi Mi (six years old) and Ma Hnin Wadi Saung (six years old), all residents of Wont Tay Kone Village in Madaya Township. According to the investigation, at 10:00 AM, on the same day, the children were playing near a mango plantation south of the village, they triggered an improvised explosive device planted by so-called PDF terrorists, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
