Four Electric Poles Destroyed by KNU and So-Called PDF Terrorists in Taungoo Township of Bago Region

The armed terrorist group has been using explosive devices to plant mines and carry out detonations, including remote controlled explosions, targeting public roads, railways, government office buildings and residential homes. In addition, they have conducted bombings and destroyed electricity pylons and substations to cause power outages.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 8 April 2026 at 7:00 PM, a combined group of KNU and so-called PDF terrorists detonated a 33 kV power line extending from Thandaungyi Town to Late Tho Town Substation, near Htone Bo Gyi Village in Taungoo Township. As a result, four concrete poles of the power line collapsed and were destroyed, causing a power outage in the wards and villages of Late Tho Town, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
