Two Innocent Civilians Injured in Heavy Weapon Attack by So-Called CDF Terrorists in Hakha Township of Chin State

     Terrorists are ruthlessly carrying out abductions, killings and armed attacks, using both heavy and small weapons, improvised rocket attacks on wards and villages, as well as conducting drone strikes, all with the intent to harm civilians and instill fear among the public.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 19 February 2026 at 8:00 AM, a report stated that two men with shrapnel injuries were admitted to Hakha Public Hospital in Hakha Township of Chin State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victims were identified as U Htet Ta Lwal (87 years old) and U Kya O Lwal (46 years old), both residents of Kyin Khwar Village in Hakha Township. According to the investigation, at 1:30 AM, on the same day, While the victims were at their respective houses, the heavy weapon shells fired by the so-called CDF terrorists exploded nearby, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.

     According to the above-mentioned case, local residents are condemning and protesting against the indiscriminate firing of heavy weapons, small arms, improvised rockets and drone attacks by dropping bombs on wards and villages. In response, security personnel, in collaboration with local residents, are intensifying security measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the incident, it is reported.
