Two Innocent Civilians Abducted and Shot Dead by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Gyobingauk Township of Bago Region

     Terrorists have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities-including abducting and extorting money from local civilians and also election commission members, as well as killings.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 16 December 2025 at 8:00 AM, a report stated that two men were found dead on the road connecting Hlay Tone Village and Tha Yet Kine Kyo Village in Gyobingauk Township of Bago Region. When security personnel arrived at the scene for further investigation, the victims were identified as U Thet Lwin (33 years old), a resident of Nyaung Nyin Pin Village and U Khin Zaw Win, (51 years old), a resident of Hlay Tone Village. On 15 December 2025 the victims were abducted and shot dead at the scene by a group of approximately 50 so-called PDF terrorists, it is reported. 

     Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
