Innocent Civilian Injured in Attack by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Pindaya Township of Shan State

     In some townships across States and Regions, terrorists motivated by a radical ideology that views “anyone with differing views is an enemy” are conducting violent assaults and assassinations. Their targets are innocent civilians who do not support their terrorist acts. Using firearms and knives, these terrorists are committing brutal assassinations after accusing them of “spies, informants or decoys”. This strategy is intended to instill fear among peaceable civilians and create a pervasive sense of dread within these communities.

     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 28 October 2025 at 11:30 AM, a report stated that a man with gunshot wounds was admitted to Mine-Inn Station Hospital in Pindaya Township of Shan State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as Ko Ye Win Naing (24 years old), a resident of Hyal Toe Village in Yatsauk Township. The victim was travelling by car to Pindaya Town along the Pin Phyit - Myay Ni Kone - Oah Kone - Mine-In Village commutable road. At 11:25 AM, on the same day, when the vehicle reached a location near Oah Kone Village in Pindaya Township, four so-called PDF terrorists who were being followed by two motorcycles, opened fire on the vehicle, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     Security personnel are persistently taking necessary measures to identify and apprehend the terrorists responsible for the aforementioned case, it is reported.
