Sub-Village In-Charge Abducted by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Kyunsu Township of Tanintharyi Region

     Terrorist groups have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities-including abducting and extorting money from local civilians and also election commission members, as well as killings.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 19 December 2025 at 11:00 PM, while U Min Min Naing (37 years old), a sub-village in-charge and a resident of Kho Taung Village in Ka Bin Village Tract, Kyunsu Township of Tanintharyi Region, was at his house, six so-called PDF terrorists arriving by motorboat and abducted him, it is reported. 

     Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
