Two Innocent Civilians Injured After Stepping on Improvised Explosive Devices Planted by So-Called CDF/PDF Terrorists in Hakha and Natogyi Townships

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 10 February 2026 at 10:10 AM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Hakha Township Public Hospital in Chin State. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as Ko Chan Hu Lyan (21 years old), a resident of Myo Haung Ward in Hakha Township. According to the investigation at 9:45 AM, on the same day, while the victim was working in a yard located on the Hakha-Gangaw roadside near the ward, he stepped on an improvised explosive device planted by the so-called CDF terrorists, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     Similarly, at 3:10 PM, on the same day, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Mandalay Public Hospital in Chanayetharzan Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as U Phoe Zaw (48 years old), a resident of Nyat Pyaw Eaing Village in Natogyi Township. According to the investigation at 7:30 AM, on the same day, while the victim was returning home from a forest northeast of the village, he stepped on an improvised explosive device planted by the so-called PDF terrorists near the village, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.
