Innocent Civilian Injured After Stepping Land Mine Planted by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Salin Township of Magway Region

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices, and houses.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 29 July 2025 at 7:30 AM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Sin Phyu Kyun Station Hospital in Salin Township of Magway Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as U Htin Aung Lin (45 years old), a resident of Kya Pin (South) Village in Salin Township. The incident had occurred 6:30 AM, on the same day, the victim was on his way to Myothit Village for masonry work. When he reached an area approximately three furlongs south of Kya Pin (South) Village, he accidentally stepped on a land mine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group. The mine exploded, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
