Innocent Civilian Injured After Stepping on Landmine Planted by So-Called PDF Terrorist Group in Pwintphyu Township of Magway Region

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 16 November 2025 at 12:30 PM, a report stated that a man with shrapnel injuries was admitted to Pwintphyu Township Public Hospital in Magway Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, the victim was identified as Mg Naing Myint (18 years old), a resident of Ye Poat Gyi Village in Pwintphyu Township. On 15 November 2025 at 5:30 PM, while the victim was returning home on foot from Ye Poat Ka Lay Village, he accidentally stepped on a landmine planted by a so-called PDF terrorist group near the edge of a forest about one and a half miles north of Ye Poat Ka Lay Village, resulting in his injuries, it is reported.

     It has been reported that the security personnerl are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
