Sub-Village In-Charge Abducted Along with Two Motorcycles by So-Called PDF Terrorists in Pyawbwe Township of Mandalay Region

     Terrorists have been engaging in battles, carrying out attacks using heavy weapons, drones to drop bombs and improvised explosive devices across towns and villages in various states and regions. Moreover, they are committing inhumane acts of terror and criminal activities-including abducting and extorting money from local civilians and also election commission members, as well as killings.

     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 6 December 2025, at 2:30 AM, while U Thaung Shein (64 years old), a sub-village in-charge and a resident of Myin Tal (South) Village in Pyawbwe Township of Mandalay Region, was at his house, six so-called PDF terrorists arrived and abducted him, along with two motorcycle parked in front of his house, it is reported.

     Regarding the above incident, security personnel are continuing necessary operations in accordance with standard procedures to identify, apprehend and take action against the terrorists involved, it is reported.
